The Ringer columnist Michael Pina believes that Minnesota forward Karl-Anthony Towns may leave the team next summer.
He just signed an extension, so he can`t be traded until the summer. But if the Wolves either miss the play-in or lose before the second round of the playoffs, expect plenty of speculation about Towns` future.
There is always a chance that Minnesota will make a trade, increase defense on the arc and find a better way to use all three stars, but I don`t count on it, " wrote Pina.
Minnesota is currently 11th in the Western Conference with a 17-21 record.
