Wilfried Zaha was at the heart of Crystal Palace`s success against Brighton. After a goal fist in the first half when all the hits fell, Londoners won 3:2 and moved away to six points from the relegation zone. Roy Hodgson`s team started very actively, not looking like a team that had one win in their last seven home games. Zhaa and Townsend on the wings created problems for the rival, and Miroslavjevic played perfectly in the middle of the pitch. Pallas takes advantage of his opponent`s mistakes in all three goals.
Zach opened the score after five minutes of play, adding the ball a bit in front of the goal, after Ryan had hit Milliyevich. Nine minutes later, Tomkins doubled the home side`s lead after a corner kick and shuffled into the opponent`s penalty area.
Glenn Murray Brighton back in the game in the 18th minute, but Zaha scored his second goal of the match hooked on Milivoyevich and Hodgson`s team regained the lead by two goals. Ten mi nutes later Isikerdo scored and returned guests` hopes. After the break, Palace had some problems as the pace in the first part could not be maintained and the players were tired. The hosts needed excellent performances of goalkeeper Hennessy and key blocking by Mamadou Sakho at the end when he stopped Glen Murray.
