The West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is angry about the loss against Chelsea last night and thinks that the debacle could have been avoided if the team hadn`t made some mistakes.
Hazard and Costa scored hits of the leader, who keeps the advance of 10 points on top, and the late goal by Manuel Lanzini did not help the Hammers.
`Chelsea takes this position, not by accident, but we were expecting them to get something from the game. We started well, but then we made a mistake after our central defenders were involved in the attack. We went after a counterattack, which could have been avoided. The second hit was also pretty cheap.`, commented Bilic.
`Things are clear - if you want to win against Chelsea, then you should force them to admit mistakes that will help you, not the other way around. Otherwise, you have a minimal chance to hope for something.`, he added.
`We could get more goals, but it is a fact that in the second half, their every attack looked dangerous because of the speed and quality. Their ability to carry the game from verified soccer picks forward is really frightening.`, said Bilic.
