Olympique Marseille fell fourth in League One

Olympique Marseille and Montpellier ended in a draw in a match from upcoming events in the 32nd round of League 1. The hosts created more positions but failed to reach a goal. Marseille is now in 4th place with a total of 63 points, as is the third in Lyon. Montpellier climbed to sixth place with 46 points.

In the first minutes of the game, Dimitri Payet made several good appearances before the opponent`s door, but it did not reach the goal. In the middle of half-time, Sakai met the hand of Montpellier`s player in the penalty area. However, the referee signaled for the game to continue. Sanson also demanded a penalty at the end of the half-time after being defeated by a defender, but the claims were not respected again.

In the second part the pace of the game dropped and the goals were missing. However, in the 67th minute, the reserve Kostas Mitroglu missed an excellent opportunity to bring Olympique Marseille success.
