Tony Pulis is the favorite for the new Middlesbrough mentor

The former senior coach of Stoke City and West Bromwich Tony Pulis may become manager of the English second division Middlesbrough, 'The Mirror' reports. The 59-year-old specialist is offered a three-year contract. The club`s leadership plans to complete the negotiations with Pulis in the near hours and to announce his appointment to the post before the 24th round of the Championship against Bolton, which will be played on Dec. 26. Yesterday Middlesbrough fired manager Garry Monk for unsatisfactory results. Monk took up the club in June after dropping out of the Premier League, but under his leadership, the North Africans achieved only 10 wins in 23 matches via today soccer predictions in the Championship and occupy the ninth place of 12 points in the direct promotion position for the elite.
