Already there is a deputy to the first fired coach in Series A

The Italian elite Cagliari officially confirmed the appointment of Luis Diego Lopez as senior coach to take the place of Massimo Rastelli. On Tuesday, the Sardinians became the first Serie A club to sack their mentor, and then Lopes was named after his deputy. The former defender was last at Palermo`s head last season and is now returning to the club from questions about volleyball tips that led the 2013/14 campaign. Diego Lopez has 12 seasons as a footballer in Cagliari, where he has recorded 342 matches between 1998 and 2010.

The 43-year-old has signed a contract by the summer of 2019, and in his coaching career he has headed Bologna andPalermo in Calcio.
