The Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil decided not to continue his contract and leave the club next summer with the status of a free agent. As reported by `Sport Bild`, the German national last conversed with his club adviced by archive of soccer tips on the occasion of the new treaty in February this year.
Then, the parties have not reached any understanding and ultimately Ozil has decided not to resume the negotiations. It is noted that the 28-year-old footballer does not agree to sign a new agreement with a salary of 280 000 euros per week.
Duncan Castles said that the motives of Mesut are not financial, but rather sports - the German doesn`t believe that Arsenal will soon return to the Champions League, which finally convinced him to leave the Emirates.
Ozil arrived at Arsenal in the year 2013 from Real Madrid for the amount of 47 million euros.
