Mourinho wants to break the record of Sir Alex Ferguson

The Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho did not hide the excitement of the upcoming matches in the Champions League and wished to improve the record of Sir Alex Ferguson for the most matches in the tournament. There are currently 133 meetings in which Mourinho led the teams of FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, while Ferguson is with 194.
`Getting back to the Champions League is good for the players, good for me and good for the club.`, said Mourinho ahead of the United`s tv club.
`That is our natural habitat and I think we have earned accolades with our performance in the Europa League last season. Everyone at the club we wanted to play in the Champions League, and maybe it sounds too ambitious, from my point of view, but I want to be the manager with the most matches in the Champions League!`, added the Portuguese ".
`I know that I am currently in the top 5 or top 6 in terms of matches, but I am still too far from those in front of me and especially Sir Alex, but I will fight for that record. Last year, it was a lost season for me in the pursuit of that record, but it was worth it for the sake of this Manchester United to be on the place in which it should be. I am very happy about that fact. The nights in the Champions League cannot be compared to anything else. Not all players have experience in the tournament via live betting odds but for them and for the fans it would be great that at Old Trafford there will be such matches.`, said Mourinho.
