Federer started his 17th participation at Wimbledon with triumph

The finalist of Wimbledon 2014 Roger Federer began his 17th tournament of the Grand Slam with a convincing success.

The second placed Swiss beat Damir Cumhur with 6:1, 6:3, 6:3 after 67 minutes on the Centre Court in London.

The seven-time champion realized a total of five breaks in the unequal meeting and did not give to the opponent a single break point. Federer finished with 85 percent earned points at first serve. He achieved 26 winning hits (6 aces) and 12 unforced errors.

In the second round Roger will play against Sam Querrey. The tall Yankee beat the qualifier Igor Sijsling from the Netherlands with 7:5, 6:3, 6:4.

Roger has won two matches according proofed soccer picks against the upcoming rival, but his last meeting with Querrey was in 2008 at "Roland Garros".
